最近唸書常以電腦收聽BBC Radio2來當作奮戰苦悶期末考的背景音樂，書沒怎麼念進去，耳裡卻時常響著Adele那副嘶啞的嗓子，和一句句高唱得令人心碎的詞曲。

「Rolling in the Deep」點播率尤其發燒，已成為這位橫掃歐陸、席捲美洲各地的英國新生代女歌手Adele的代表作品。

這首歌散發濃濃爵士藍調味，且融入靈魂福音等多元樂風，奮力唱出新時代女性那股敢愛敢恨的強烈性格。

此曲訴說自己遭男友背叛，憤而咒罵對方不是，怨懟原本滿是美好的未來被男人搞砸，慢慢地，憤怒之火在心底蔓生，就快衝出黑暗，瞬間爆發。
副歌處的一道道高音旋律將她心中的不滿全帶向至高點，Adele的嗓音渾厚嘶啞，心裡還在掙扎該去恨他還是愛他(Rolling in the Deep)，面對男友不忠的爆怒最後還是帶領她走出心底暗潮，邁向新的人生。而背後的合聲就像她自己的喃喃低語，暗地下定決心，以後只為自己吟詠下去。

初次注意到這首歌，還以為演唱者是位正統黑人爵士女歌手，上了Youtube看了MV後才恍然明白自己被Adele的嗓音給「騙」倒了。
身為白人的Adele不諱言自己的曲風深受早期女性爵士藍調歌手Etta James、Ella Jane Fitzgerald的影響，從而造就她頂著一張白人面容卻有辦法唱出正統黑人靈魂樂的反差美感。

Adele稱自己的音樂為「Heartbroken Soul」，這也難怪她的歌曲總是如泣如訴，聽歌完後老起雞皮疙瘩，甚至會有股想要掉淚的衝動。

說也奇怪，Adele的啞嗓子並不完美，但是由她來詮釋「Rolling in the Deep」這類的曲子就相當有味道，讓人不禁聯想到台灣的「王若琳」。
她們同樣有副慵懶的沙啞嗓音，歌曲也是讓人一聽再聽，就是著迷不已。

我們看見年僅21的Adele用聲音征服全球，星光已在她年輕的生命裡閃閃發亮，期待她下一張專輯帶給我們的靈魂衝擊。
